This spring the UC Alumni Chorus will premiere Mark Popeney's "darkness and beauty of stars" at UC Berkeley’s Hertz Hall on Sunday, May 5 at 3:00 pm. This new piece, commissioned jointly by UCAC and the UC Berkeley Wind Ensemble, features exquisite love songs for mixed chorus and wind ensemble set to the poems of E. E. Cummings.
